Self-Check Steps
- Shine a flashlight close to the screen in a dark room to check for a faint image — confirms backlight issue, not panel failure
- Verify the TV’s backlight brightness setting hasn’t been turned down to zero
- Power off, reseat the ribbon cable between the main board and the LED driver board
- Measure LED strip terminal voltage against the service manual specification
- Contact support to replace the LED backlight strip assembly
