- 在较暗环境中用手电筒贴近屏幕照射，尝试查看屏幕是否有微弱的图像显示。如果能隐约看到图像（有声音无光），基本可确认是背光故障。
- 检查电视画面设置中的背光亮度是否被误调至极低水平，尝试在菜单中调高背光设置。
- 观察屏幕是否有局部区域正常而其他区域暗的情况——局部暗斑通常对应某条灯条故障，大面积无光则可能是驱动板或多个灯条同时故障。

Common Causes
- One or more LED beads on the backlight strip have aged and burned out, causing the entire strip to open-circuit.
- The constant-current IC on the backlight driver board has failed and can no longer output stable driving current.
- Solder joints on the LED strip have developed fatigue cracks or cold solder joints due to repeated thermal expansion and contraction cycles.
- Excessive ripple in the power supply board output has caused surge damage to the LED beads, accelerating failure.
- The connectors or wiring harness for the LED strips are loose or oxidized, causing abnormally high circuit impedance.
- Prolonged use at high brightness settings has kept LED junction temperatures elevated, accelerating light decay and failure.
Self-Check Steps
- Completely disconnect the TV from power (unplug it), wait 5 minutes, then reconnect and power on. Observe whether the fault clears — occasional false protection triggers can be resolved by a power reset.
- In a dark environment, shine a flashlight close to the screen and check whether a faint image is visible. If you can dimly see an image (sound present but no light), this strongly confirms a backlight fault.
- Check the backlight brightness setting in the picture menu — it may have been accidentally set to an extremely low level. Try increasing it.
- Observe whether only part of the screen is dim while the rest is normal — localized dark areas typically indicate a specific strip failure, while a completely dark screen suggests driver board or multiple strip failures.
