E5 为压缩机过流保护。当压缩机运行电流超过额定电流保护阈值时，控制器触发过流保护并停机，防止压缩机绕组因电流过大而烧毁。
常见原因
- 供电电压异常，电压过低导致压缩机运行电流升高。
- 供电电压过高，超出压缩机额定电压范围。
- 压缩机绕组局部短路或对地绝缘下降，导致运行电流增大。
- 压缩机内部机械卡滞，转子转动阻力过大。
- 变频驱动模块故障，输出电流波形异常。
自助排查
- 使用万用表测量电源插座电压，确认在空调额定电压范围内（通常 220V ±10%）。如电压不稳定，建议安装稳压器。
- 检查空调专用插座和空气开关是否接触良好，插头有无烧蚀变色痕迹。
- 断电后等待 5 分钟重新上电开机，观察故障是否复现。偶发性过流可能与电网瞬间波动有关。
- 如电压正常但开机即报 E5，压缩机或驱动板可能存在硬件故障，请联系格力售后服务中心安排检修。
- 勿反复尝试开机，避免故障扩大造成更大损坏。

E5 indicates compressor overcurrent protection. When the compressor operating current exceeds the rated current protection threshold, the controller triggers overcurrent protection and shuts down to prevent compressor winding burnout.
Common Causes
- Abnormal supply voltage — voltage that is too low causes elevated compressor operating current.
- Supply voltage that is too high, exceeding the compressor’s rated voltage range.
- Partial short circuit in compressor windings or degraded insulation resistance, causing increased running current.
- Internal mechanical seizure of the compressor, with excessive rotor rotational resistance.
- Inverter drive module fault, producing abnormal output current waveforms.
Self-Check Steps
- Use a multimeter to measure the power outlet voltage and confirm it is within the unit’s rated voltage range (typically 220V ±10%). If voltage is unstable, consider installing a voltage stabilizer.
- Check that the dedicated air conditioner outlet and circuit breaker are making good contact; inspect the plug for burn marks or discoloration.
- Power off, wait 5 minutes, then power on and start the unit to see if the fault recurs. An occasional overcurrent trip may be related to transient grid fluctuations.
