- 检查室外机接线端子处传感器线束的插头是否松动、氧化或腐蚀。
- 断开传感器后使用万用表测量阻值（参考值：25°C 时约 5-10kΩ），判断是否开路或短路。
- 清理室外机周围杂物，确保通风良好，冲洗翅片上的灰尘。

The Konka air conditioner has detected an abnormal outdoor condenser coil temperature sensor. Error code E3 indicates that the outdoor unit main board has detected an open circuit, short circuit, or abnormal resistance on the condenser pipe temperature sensor. The condenser sensor monitors the outdoor heat exchanger temperature, participating in defrost control during heating and high-pressure protection during cooling.
Common Causes
- The condenser pipe temperature sensor itself is damaged — NTC thermistor is open or shorted.
- The outdoor unit sensor connector has aged, oxidized, or corroded from prolonged sun exposure, wind, and rain.
- The sensor leads are pinched or have broken insulation at the outdoor unit wiring terminal.
- Faulty sensor detection circuit (biased resistor degraded) on the outdoor main board.
- The sensor mounting bracket has rusted, causing poor thermal contact with the condenser coil.
- The sensor probe is covered by ice or snow in extreme weather, causing abnormal temperature readings.
Self-Check Steps
- Power cycle the AC, wait 5 minutes, restart, and observe whether E3 clears.
- Check the sensor wiring connector at the outdoor unit terminal block for looseness, oxidation, or corrosion.
- Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance with a multimeter (reference: approximately 5-10kΩ at 25°C) to determine if it is open or shorted.
- Clear debris around the outdoor unit, ensure good ventilation, and rinse dust from the condenser fins.
