自助排查
- 断电后检查主板与逻辑板之间的连接排线是否插紧，尝试重新插拔排线并清理接触点。
- 开机观察屏幕现象——如果屏幕一半正常一半异常，通常为逻辑板到面板的连接问题；全屏异常则可能为逻辑板本身故障。
- 用酒精清洁排线金手指并晾干后重新连接，排除氧化或污渍造成的接触不良。
- 用手轻按逻辑板上的主芯片，观察图像是否有瞬间变化——虚焊时按压可短暂改善。
- 逻辑板更换相对简单，可购买同型号逻辑板替换测试，但需确保排线方向正确。

The Skyworth TV has detected a T-Con Board (Timing Control Board) abnormality. Code E3 indicates communication failure between the main board and the T-Con board, or the T-Con board’s self-test failed. The T-Con board converts the video signal from the main board into the timing signals required by the panel driver ICs. A T-Con fault typically results in a distorted picture, vertical bands, frozen image, or gray screen.
Common Causes
- The main controller chip (TCON IC) on the T-Con board is damaged and cannot process the LVDS or V-by-One signal from the main board.
- T-Con board power supply is abnormal — one or more of VDD (3.3V), VGH, VGL output voltages are missing.
- The LVDS or V-by-One ribbon cable between the main board and T-Con board is loose, has poor contact, or has broken wires.
- The gamma reference voltage chip (gamma buffer) on the T-Con board has failed, causing grayscale level distortion.
- One or more COF (Chip on Film) ribbons to the panel are partially damaged, and the T-Con board detects an abnormal load.
Self-Check Steps
- Power off and check the ribbon cable between the main board and T-Con board — reseat it and clean the contact points.
- Observe the screen pattern — if half the screen is normal and the other half is abnormal, the issue is likely between the T-Con and panel; a full-screen issue usually points to the T-Con board itself.
- Clean the ribbon cable contacts with alcohol, let them dry, then reconnect to eliminate oxidation or dirt.
- Gently press on the main TCON IC chip — if the image momentarily changes, this may indicate a cold solder joint.
- Replacing the T-Con board is relatively straightforward. You can purchase an identical model and swap it for testing, but ensure the ribbon direction is correct.
