Common Causes
- The dust bin is actually full — accumulated debris has reached the sensor trigger point.
- The infrared transmitter and receiver windows inside the dust bin are covered with dust, causing a false full detection.
- The dust bin foam or HEPA filter is heavily clogged, restricting airflow and triggering the airflow differential sensor.
- The dust bin is not correctly installed — not pushed fully into place, preventing the detection mechanism from resetting.
- Sensor circuit fault or loose sensor connector.
- The environment contains a lot of fine dust, causing the filter to clog prematurely and triggering E10 too early.
Self-Check Steps
- Remove the dust bin, empty the debris, and clean the inside of the bin.
- Clean the sensor windows inside the dust bin (infrared transmitter and receiver diode surfaces) — gently wipe with a dry cotton swab.
- Clean or replace the HEPA filter — a clogged filter can cause the airflow differential sensor to falsely trigger.
- Reinstall the dust bin, ensuring you hear a “click” confirming it is fully seated.
- Restart the robot. If E10 persists frequently even with an empty dust bin, contact TCL after-sales to inspect the sensor.
