常见原因
- 主板 SoC（系统级芯片）BGA 焊点因长期热循环导致虚焊或开裂。

- eMMC 闪存达到写入寿命上限，出现大量坏块导致系统文件损坏。

- 主板上某一路供电轨（如 1.1V 核心电压、1.8V IO 电压）短路或异常。
- 雷击或电网浪涌通过 HDMI 或电源端口传入，击穿主板关键元件。
自助排查
- 拔掉电视电源线，按住电视机身电源键（非遥控器）不放，同时插入电源线，持续按住 15 秒后松开——尝试进入强制恢复模式。
- 断开所有外接设备（HDMI、USB、AV 等），仅保留电源线，开机观察是否仍显示 E4。
- 若电视能短暂显示 TCL Logo 后卡住或重启，说明引导程序部分可用但系统内核损坏。
- 用 U 盘制作 TCL 官方固件恢复盘，按机型对应的强制升级方法尝试刷机恢复。
- 检查主板是否有肉眼可见的电容鼓包、芯片烧痕或 PCB 变色区域。
- 主板级维修需要 BGA 返修台和专用工具，不建议自行维修。联系 TCL 售后获取主板更换或维修服务。

Common Causes
- BGA solder joints on the main board SoC (System-on-Chip) have cracked due to prolonged thermal cycling.
- DDR memory chips have failed or have cold solder joints, causing the system to fail memory testing during POST.
- eMMC flash memory has reached its write endurance limit, with extensive bad blocks causing system file corruption.
- The bootloader is corrupted and the system cannot load the operating system kernel.
- A power rail short circuit or abnormality on the main board (e.g., 1.1V core voltage, 1.8V IO voltage).
- Lightning strike or grid surge entering through HDMI or power ports, damaging critical main board components.
Self-Check Steps
- Unplug the power cord. Press and hold the physical power button on the TV body (not the remote). While holding, plug the power cord back in. Continue holding for 15 seconds, then release — this attempts to enter forced recovery mode.
- Disconnect all external devices (HDMI, USB, AV, etc.), leaving only the power cord. Power on and check if E4 still appears.
- If the TV briefly displays the TCL logo then freezes or restarts, the bootloader is partially functional but the system kernel is corrupted.
- Prepare a USB drive with official TCL firmware and attempt a forced firmware update following the model-specific procedure.
- Inspect the main board for visible bulging capacitors, burn marks on chips, or discolored PCB areas.
- Main board-level repairs require BGA rework stations and specialized tools; DIY repair is not recommended. Contact TCL after-sales for board replacement or repair service.
