Common Causes

- The ambient temperature is too high (e.g., direct summer sunlight, proximity to a heater), exceeding the TV’s normal operating temperature range.
- The heatsink on the main chip or power board has detached due to vibration or adhesive aging, preventing heat from the core components from being conducted to the heatsink.
- Prolonged continuous playback of high-brightness content with sustained high load on the chip and backlight system generates excessive heat.
- Thermal paste has dried out and aged, significantly increasing the thermal resistance between the chip and the heatsink.
Self-Check Steps
- Immediately disconnect the TV from power and allow it to cool naturally for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to clean all dust from the ventilation openings on the back and sides of the TV, ensuring airflow paths are clear.
- Adjust the TV’s placement to ensure at least 10 cm of ventilation clearance on all sides. Never enclose the TV in a sealed cabinet.
- Avoid placing the TV where it is exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources. Keep the room temperature below 35°C.
