常见原因
- 水龙头未打开或停水，进水电磁阀无法吸入水流。

- 进水软管扭曲或被重物压住，水路受阻。
- 进水电磁阀线圈烧毁或阀芯卡死，无法正常开启。
- 水压过低，低于洗衣机设计最低进水压力要求。
自助排查
- 检查水龙头是否已完全打开，确认家中其他水龙头出水正常（排除停水或总阀关闭）。
- 关闭水龙头，旋下进水软管两端，检查两端过滤网是否有泥沙或水垢堵塞。用小刷清理过滤网后装回旋紧。
- 检查进水软管是否有扭曲、折弯或被家具挤压的情况，理顺管路。
- 重新连接进水管后，打开水龙头观察软管与龙头连接处是否有漏水，确认垫圈完好。
- 测量家中水压，自来水压力应不低于 0.05MPa（约 0.5kg/cm²）。若水压长期偏低，可能需要安装增压泵。若水压正常但进水阀无声响（正常通电时能听到轻微的”咔嗒”吸合声），则进水阀可能损坏，需联系西门子售后更换。

E17 indicates a water intake timeout fault. The washing machine failed to reach the target water level within the preset time, and the water level sensor did not detect a valid water level rise. The controller stops the program to prevent the inlet valve from being energized open with no flow, which could burn out the coil or cause water hammer damage to the plumbing.
Common Causes
- The water tap is not turned on or the water supply is cut off — the inlet solenoid valve cannot draw any water.
- The inlet filter screen is clogged with scale or sediment, resulting in very low or zero flow.
- The inlet hose is twisted or compressed under a heavy object, blocking the water path.
- The inlet solenoid valve coil is burned out or the valve plunger is stuck, preventing normal opening.
- Water pressure is too low, below the machine’s minimum design inlet pressure requirement.
Self-Check Steps
- Check that the water tap is fully open and confirm that other taps in the home have normal water flow (rule out a water outage or a closed main valve).
- Turn off the tap and unscrew both ends of the inlet hose. Check the filter screens at both ends for sediment or scale blockage. Clean the screens with a small brush, then reinstall and tighten.
- Inspect the inlet hose for twisting, kinking, or compression by furniture — straighten the hose as needed.
- After reconnecting the inlet hose, turn on the tap and check the connection points for leaks, confirming the gaskets are in good condition.
- Measure the household water pressure — the supply pressure should be at least 0.05MPa (approx. 0.5kg/cm²). If water pressure is persistently low, a booster pump may be needed. If pressure is normal but the inlet valve makes no sound (a faint “click” should be audible when the valve energizes), the inlet valve may be faulty and require replacement by Siemens after-sales service.
