E3 为漏水检测报警。净水器底板或机身内部的漏水检测电极/传感器检测到有积水，控制器判定设备存在漏水并停止制水、关闭进水电磁阀，防止漏水扩大造成地面损坏或电路短路。
常见原因
- 滤芯安装不到位或滤芯盖未旋紧，滤瓶接口处渗水。
- 滤芯 O 型密封圈老化、破损或安装时移位变形，密封不严。
- 内部管路接头松动，长期水压波动导致快插接头脱出或密封失效。
- 净水器内部 PE 管弯折处因反复受力产生细小裂纹。
- RO 膜壳密封端盖未压紧或密封圈断裂。
自助排查
- 立即关闭净水器进水角阀并拔掉电源插头，擦干机身底部及周围地面积水。
- 打开净水器前面板或顶盖（视具体型号），用干布擦干内部可见水渍，观察水是从哪个区域渗出。
- 逐个检查各滤芯是否已旋紧到位，尤其是近期更换过的滤芯。重新取下滤芯，检查 O 型密封圈是否完好无损、安装周正，涂抹少量食品级硅脂后装回旋紧。
- 检查各水管快插接头是否已完全插入到位，轻轻回拉确认无松动。如有松脱，将管端剪切整齐后重新插入到位。
- 擦干机壳内部后保持断电状态，打开进水角阀观察是否有渗水点出现（不接通电源时进水阀关闭，水压仅在阀前）。若有渗水，标记位置后联系小米售后服务中心。切勿在漏水未解决的情况下通电使用。

Meaning
E3 indicates a water leakage alarm. The leak detection electrodes or sensors on the bottom tray or inside the purifier body have detected accumulated water. The controller shuts down water production and closes the inlet solenoid valve to prevent the leak from spreading and causing floor damage or electrical short circuits.
Common Causes
- Filter cartridge is not seated correctly or the filter housing cap is not fully tightened, allowing seepage at the filter housing interface.
- Filter O-ring seal is aged, damaged, or misaligned during installation, resulting in an incomplete seal.
- Internal pipe fittings are loose — long-term water pressure fluctuations have caused a quick-connect fitting to pop out or its seal to fail.
- PE tubing inside the purifier has developed small cracks at a bend point due to repeated stress.
- RO membrane housing end cap is not fully seated or its seal ring is broken.
Self-Check Steps
- Immediately close the purifier’s inlet angle valve and unplug the power cord. Wipe dry any water on the bottom of the unit and the surrounding floor.
- Open the front panel or top cover of the purifier (depending on the model) and use a dry cloth to wipe away any visible water inside, noting where the water is coming from.
- Check each filter cartridge one by one to confirm it is fully tightened, especially any recently replaced filters. Remove and re-inspect the filter O-ring — ensure it is intact and seated properly. Apply a small amount of food-grade silicone grease, then reinstall and tighten.
- Check all water tubing quick-connect fittings to ensure they are fully inserted — gently pull back on each to confirm they are secure. If any fitting is loose, cut the tube end squarely and re-insert it fully.
- After drying the interior of the unit, keep the power disconnected and slowly open the inlet valve to observe whether any seepage appears (without power, the inlet solenoid valve remains closed, so pressure exists only upstream of the valve). If a leak is found, mark its location and contact Xiaomi after-sales service. Do not reconnect power or operate the unit until the leak is resolved.
