含义
电池组内部温度超过安全上限，BMS（电池管理系统）触发过热保护，切断输出以防止热失控。
常见原因
- 机器在阳光直射下或高温环境中存放/使用（环境温度超过45°C）
- 充电后立即高负载使用，电池尚未冷却即开始大功率放电
- 电池组长期深度放电后未及时充电，内部阻抗增大导致发热
- 充电器故障或使用非原装充电器，充电电流异常导致电池过热
- 电池组内部电芯老化，内阻升高导致放电时过度发热
自助排查
- 立即停止使用，将机器移至阴凉通风处自然冷却至少30分钟
- 从机器上取下电池组（如可拆卸型号），检查电池外壳有无鼓包或变形
- 确认使用戴森原装充电器，检查充电器插头和线缆是否完好
- 冷却后重新安装电池，若在充电时出现E04则暂停充电并检查充电环境
- 若反复过热或电池有明显物理变形，请停止使用并更换电池组

Meaning
The internal temperature of the battery pack has exceeded the safe limit. The BMS (Battery Management System) triggers thermal protection and cuts power output to prevent thermal runaway.
Common Causes
- Machine stored or used in direct sunlight or high-temperature environments (ambient above 45°C)
- High-load operation immediately after charging without allowing the battery to cool
- Battery left in deep discharge state for extended periods, increasing internal impedance
- Faulty charger or use of a non-genuine charger delivering abnormal charge current
- Aging cells inside the battery pack with elevated internal resistance causing excessive heat during discharge
Self-Check Steps
- Stop using the unit immediately and move it to a cool, ventilated area for at least 30 minutes of natural cooling
- Remove the battery pack (if detachable) and inspect the casing for bulging, cracking, or deformation
- Verify you are using a genuine Dyson charger; inspect the charger plug and cable for damage
- After cooling, reinstall the battery. If E04 occurs during charging, stop charging and check ambient temperature
- If overheating recurs or the battery shows physical swelling, discontinue use and replace the battery pack
