Common Causes

Self-Check Steps
- Fully disconnect power (unplug the cord), wait 5 minutes, then reconnect and power on to rule out transient false triggers.
- In a dark room, shine a flashlight close to the screen to check for a faint image. A visible but extremely dim image confirms a backlight fault; otherwise the issue may be with the logic board or main board.
- Listen carefully for a high-frequency “buzzing” sound from the backlight driver when powering on — sound with no light typically indicates the driver is in protection mode.
- Check whether the LED strip connector is fully seated; try reseating the strip wiring harness.
