Meaning
Charging failure. The robot cannot charge, the charging indicator behaves abnormally, or the dock connection fails after the robot returns.
Common Causes
- Oxidized or dirty charging contacts on both the robot and the dock
- Robot failed to align properly with the charging dock
- Charging dock not receiving power — adapter damaged or plug loose
- Battery BMS (Battery Management System) in protection mode due to critically low voltage
- Open-circuit MOSFET or diode in the charging circuit
Self-Check Steps
- Clean the charging contacts on the robot and the dock using a dry cloth or an eraser
- Verify the dock’s indicator light is on — confirm the power adapter is connected
- Manually push the robot onto the dock and observe if the charging LED lights up
- Remove the battery and measure its voltage — below 3V requires a manual activation charge
- Check the dock charging prongs for deformation — adjust to the correct spring angle
