E14表示空调变频驱动板（逆变器）温度超过安全上限。变频器在工作时功率模块会产生大量热量，当散热条件不良或负载过大时温度会持续上升触发保护。

常见原因

1. 室外机安装位置通风不良（阳光直晒、空间狭小或排风口被遮挡）。
2. 变频板散热器表面积灰过厚影响散热效率。
3. 散热风扇不转或转速不足。
4. 压缩机过载运行（如制冷剂过量或系统高压侧堵塞）。
5. 环境温度极高且长时间满负荷运行。

自助排查

1. 关闭空调等待30分钟让变频板冷却后重新启动。
2. 检查室外机安装位置通风条件，清理周围遮挡物保证空气流通。
3. 清理室外机散热器翅片上的灰尘和柳絮等杂物（可用吸尘器搭配软刷头）。
4. 确认室外机散热风扇运转正常。
5. 如果E14频繁出现且散热条件良好，可能是变频板热敏检测电路故障或功率模块老化，需联系售后检修。

E14 indicates that the inverter drive board (inverter) temperature has exceeded the safe limit. The power module generates significant heat during operation. When cooling conditions are poor or the load is excessive, the temperature rises continuously and triggers protection.

Common Causes

1. Poor ventilation at the outdoor unit installation site (direct sunlight, cramped space, or blocked vent).
2. Excessive dust buildup on the inverter board heatsink reducing cooling efficiency.
3. The cooling fan is not running or running at insufficient speed.
4. Compressor overload operation (excessive refrigerant or high-side blockage).
5. Extremely high ambient temperature with prolonged full-load operation.

Self-Check Steps

1. Turn off the A/C for 30 minutes to allow the inverter board to cool, then restart.
2. Check the outdoor unit installation location for ventilation issues and clear any obstructions.
3. Clean dust and debris (cotton fibers, willow catkins) from the outdoor unit heatsink fins using a vacuum with a soft brush.
4. Confirm the outdoor unit cooling fan is running normally.
5. If E14 occurs frequently despite good cooling conditions, the inverter thermal detection circuit or power module may be aging — contact service.
