- PTC冷却周期不足——连续启动导致PTC未复位
- 锁舌滑道内有异物（硬币、纽扣、碎屑）卡阻
自助排查
- 拔掉电源等待 2–5 分钟让门锁 PTC 冷却复位，重新上电尝试启动。若恢复则属 PTC 过热保护。
- 打开门检查门钩 / 锁扣是否有明显断裂或变形，清除锁舌入口处杂物。
- 用力将门推到底关紧，检查门框与门体间隙是否均匀——不均匀表明门铰链变形或门锁扣偏移。
- 断开电源，拆下门锁组件，用万用表电阻档测量门锁端子：
- PTC端（通常为棕色/白色线）应在室温下 5–30Ω；
- 门开关端（常开端）门关闭时应导通；
- 若开路或短路，更换门锁总成。
- 检查门锁线束连接器是否插紧、端子有无锈蚀或退针。
- 若门锁组件与线束均正常，但主控板仍不供电给门锁，需更换主控板。

Meaning
Door lock fault (F0E) — the control board detects the door is not properly locked: the PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) door lock circuit is open, the door position switch has not closed, or the lock mechanism failed to engage within the expected time. This code appears on Whirlpool direct-drive and belt-drive washer platforms (WFW/WTW series).
Common Causes
- PTC door lock assembly (thermistor + bimetal actuator) open circuit or stuck, unable to push the locking pawl into position
- Door latch striker misaligned with the lock — the door appears closed but the micro-switch is not actuated
- Wiring harness between door lock and main control board damaged, corroded, or with backed-out pins
- Main control board triac (TRIAC) for door lock drive failed — open or shorted — no voltage supplied to lock
- Door position switch contact blades deformed or contacts pitted from arcing
- Insufficient PTC cool-down between cycles; consecutive start attempts leave the bi-metal element too hot to latch
- Foreign objects (coins, buttons, debris) lodged in the latch mechanism path
Self-Check Steps
- Unplug the washer and wait 2–5 minutes for the PTC element to cool and reset. Plug back in and attempt a cycle — if the error clears, the PTC was in thermal lockout.
- Open the door and inspect the door hook / latch striker for cracks or deformation. Clear any debris from the latch opening.
- Push the door firmly closed and check for even gaps between the door panel and cabinet — uneven gaps indicate a bent hinge or shifted strike plate.
- With power disconnected, remove the door lock assembly and measure across its terminals with a multimeter:
- PTC terminals (typically brown/white wires): 5–30Ω at room temperature;
- Door switch (normally open terminals): should show continuity when the door is closed;
- Replace the complete door lock assembly if open or shorted.
- Inspect the door lock harness connector for proper seating, corrosion, or backed-out pins.
- If the lock assembly and harness test good but the control board still does not supply voltage to the lock, replace the main control board.
