Common Causes
- Tank float stuck in one position, unable to rise and fall freely with the water level
- Aged reed switch in the level sensor
- Excessive limescale or debris in the tank interfering with sensor movement
- Loose or damp sensor wire connector
- Water tank not properly seated in its dock
Self-Check Steps
- Remove the water tank and check the float for free movement
- Clean limescale and debris from inside the tank
- Manually simulate the float motion and listen for the “click” of the reed switch actuation
- Reinstall the tank, ensuring it is fully seated in the base
