3. Excessive limescale or debris in the tank interfering with sensor movement

1. Remove the water tank and check the float for free movement
2. Clean limescale and debris from inside the tank
3. Manually simulate the float motion and listen for the “click” of the reed switch actuation
4. Reinstall the tank, ensuring it is fully seated in the base
