Self-Check Steps

1. Remove the TDS probe and soak in citric acid solution for 30 minutes to descale
2. Gently brush the probe electrode surfaces with a soft brush
3. Inspect the probe cable for corrosion or oxidized pins
4. Reinstall the probe ensuring a good seal — purge any trapped air from the chamber
5. Test the probe with a standard TDS calibration solution — replace if unresponsive
