3. 打开机器外壳，找到 PM2.5 传感器模块，检查排线是否插牢。
4. 清洁传感器内部——将传感器模块拆下（如有安装螺丝），用压缩气吹或小毛刷清理传感器内部积尘。
5. 若清洁后仍报 E1，传感器可能已到使用寿命。联系 TCL 售后更换 PM2.5 传感器模块。

Meaning

The PM2.5 laser particle sensor has a fault. E1 indicates the purifier’s PM2.5 sensor has no data or abnormal data, and cannot correctly detect the current air quality.

Common Causes

1. The laser diode or photodetector inside the PM2.5 sensor has aged or failed.
2. The sensor air inlet or outlet is clogged with dust; airflow cannot pass through the sensor.
3. The sensor ribbon cable connector to the main board is loose or has poor contact.
4. The sensor fan (on fan-equipped sensor models) has failed and cannot draw in air.
5. Internal dust buildup inside the sensor over long-term operation; the laser transmitter/receiver window is contaminated.
6. The sensor power supply circuit on the main board is faulty.

Self-Check Steps

1. Power off completely for 2 minutes, then power on again and check whether E1 clears.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner or dry cotton swab to clean the PM2.5 sensor’s air inlet and outlet (typically on the side or rear of the unit).
3. Open the unit housing, locate the PM2.5 sensor module, and check whether the cable is firmly connected.
4. Clean inside the sensor — remove the sensor module (if it has mounting screws) and use compressed air or a small brush to clean dust from inside the sensor.
5. If E1 persists after cleaning, the sensor may have reached its service life. Contact TCL after-sales to replace the PM2.5 sensor module.
