- 通过控制面板检查 UV 功能是否被意外关闭——确保 UV 杀菌功能已启用。
- UV 灯不工作不影响净化器的 PM2.5 过滤功能。如需恢复 UV 杀菌功能，联系 TCL 售后更换 UV 灯管或驱动组件。

Meaning
The UV-C sterilization lamp has a fault. E5 indicates the UV-C lamp tube or LED module drive circuit is abnormal; the UV lamp cannot operate. This fault does not affect the purifier’s basic filtration function, only the UV sterilization function.
Common Causes
- The UV-C lamp tube (or UV-LED) has reached the end of its service life; the lamp has aged and failed.
- The UV-C lamp starter (ballast) is damaged.
- Poor contact in the connection wire between the UV lamp and the driver board.
- The lamp holder is loose or the contact strips are oxidized.
- The UV lamp drive circuit on the main board (boost transformer) is faulty.
- UV-LED beads are damaged.
Self-Check Steps
- Visually check whether the UV lamp is not emitting light — observe the UV lamp area in a dark environment.
- After powering off, check whether the UV lamp tube and its connection wires are loose — reseat firmly.
- If the UV lamp tube has been in use beyond its rated life (typically 8000–10000 hours), replace it directly with a matching model.
- Check via the control panel whether the UV function has been accidentally turned off — ensure UV sterilization is enabled.
- A non-working UV lamp does not affect the purifier’s PM2.5 filtration function. To restore UV sterilization, contact TCL after-sales to replace the UV lamp or drive assembly.
