自助排查
- 断电后检查传感器插头是否插牢。
- 如果冷冻室内有结霜,先进行彻底化霜(拔掉插头 24 小时)——化霜后传感器探头周围的冰晶融化,可能恢复正常。
- 用万用表测量传感器阻值:冷冻室温度(-18°C)下通常约 20kΩ–40kΩ。若明显偏离或为 0Ω/无穷大则需更换。
- 传感器更换简单——拔下旧的插上同型号新传感器即可。联系 TCL 售后获取原厂配件或上门更换。

The freezer compartment temperature sensor has failed. E2 indicates the freezer temperature detection loop is open or shorted; the main control board cannot accurately read the freezer temperature. Freezer temperature control failure may result in inadequate freezing or excessive freezing of food.
Common Causes
- The freezer temperature sensor (NTC thermistor) is damaged — abnormal resistance or open/short circuit.
- The sensor connector is loose or detached from the main control board.
- The sensor probe is not properly fixed to the freezer evaporator fins or wall, causing poor thermal contact.
- Prolonged heavy frost buildup in the freezer, with the sensor covered by ice crystals causing inaccurate temperature sensing.
- The sensor wire has been crushed or broken inside the cabinet insulation layer.
- The heater tube during defrost cycles bakes the sensor; long-term thermal stress accelerates aging.
Self-Check Steps
- After powering off, check whether the sensor connector is firmly seated.
- If there is frost buildup inside the freezer, perform a full defrost (unplug for 24 hours) — ice crystals around the sensor probe will melt and may restore normal operation.
- Use a multimeter to measure sensor resistance: at freezer temperature (-18°C), typically about 20kΩ–40kΩ. If significantly out of range or 0Ω/infinite, replacement is needed.
- Sensor replacement is simple — unplug the old one and plug in a matching new sensor. Contact TCL after-sales for genuine parts or on-site replacement.
