常见原因
- 制冷剂不足导致压缩机回气量过少,排气温度快速升高。
- 冷凝器散热不良(脏堵或风机故障),冷凝压力与温度升高,连带排气温度上升。
- 系统中有不凝性气体(如空气、氮气),占用冷凝器换热面积,导致排气温度异常。
- 压缩机排气温度传感器故障,信号漂移导致误报。
- 电子膨胀阀开度过小或毛细管堵塞,冷媒循环量不足。
自助排查
- 检查室外机冷凝器是否脏堵,清洁翅片确保散热良好。
- 确认室外风机正常运转,风速正常。
- 观察空调制冷或制热效果,若效果明显下降且管路无结霜,可能存在制冷剂不足。
- 如空调近期经过维修(如更换压缩机或管路焊接),可能系统内混入空气,需要专业人员重新抽真空后充注。

E4 indicates compressor discharge temperature over-limit protection. When the discharge pipe temperature sensor detects that the discharge temperature exceeds the allowed upper limit (typically ≥110°C) for a sustained period, the controller triggers protection and shuts down to prevent compressor damage from overheating or burnout.
Common Causes
- Insufficient refrigerant causing low suction gas return and rapid discharge temperature rise.
- Poor condenser heat dissipation (dirty fins or fan failure), raising condensing pressure and temperature, which in turn elevates discharge temperature.
- Non-condensable gases (e.g., air, nitrogen) in the system, occupying condenser heat exchange area and causing abnormal discharge temperature.
- Faulty discharge temperature sensor with signal drift causing false readings.
- Electronic expansion valve opening too small or capillary tube blockage, resulting in insufficient refrigerant flow.
Self-Check Steps
- Check whether the outdoor condenser is dirty; clean the fins to ensure adequate heat dissipation.
- Confirm the outdoor fan is operating normally at proper speed.
- Observe cooling or heating performance. If performance is noticeably degraded without visible frost on pipes, refrigerant may be low.
- If the unit was recently serviced (e.g., compressor replacement or pipe welding), air may have entered the system. A qualified technician must re-evacuate and recharge the system.
