2. Clean grease from the motor area, especially around the Hall sensor probe
3. Power on and listen — if the motor is running but E8 persists, the signal circuit is faulty; if the motor is silent, a root cause (E0/E7) likely exists
4. Use a multimeter to check for pulse voltage on the speed signal wire while the motor is running
5. Replace the Hall sensor element if damaged, or replace the harness if wiring is faulty
