3. 使用细铁丝或专用的排水管疏通器轻轻插入排水管疏通。
4. 向排水管中缓慢倒入少量清水，观察水是否顺畅流出——如果积水或回流，说明排水管堵塞。

Error code EA indicates that the water level sensor in the indoor unit drain pan has detected a high water level. Condensate water produced during cooling cannot drain properly, and the water level in the drain pan has risen to the alarm threshold. If left unaddressed, the condensate may overflow and damage interior finishes and flooring.

Common Causes

1. Blocked drain hose — dust, algae, or debris has clogged the drain pipe, preventing condensate outflow.
2. The drain hose is kinked, crushed, or has insufficient slope for proper drainage.
3. The indoor unit is not level — excessive tilt in the wrong direction causes the drain pan to slope backward.
4. The drain pan outlet is clogged with dirt or lint buildup.
5. The water level sensor (float switch) is stuck or damaged, falsely reporting a high water level.
6. The drain hose end is submerged too deeply in the floor drain, creating a siphon blockage.

Self-Check Steps

1. Turn off the AC, disconnect power, and check whether the drain hose is visibly kinked or crushed.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to suck from the outer end of the drain hose — the negative pressure can dislodge internal blockages.
3. Gently insert a thin wire or a specialized drain line brush into the drain hose to clear blockages.
4. Slowly pour a small amount of clean water into the drain hose and observe whether it flows out freely — pooling or backflow indicates a blockage.
