4. 测量压缩机三个端子的绕组电阻是否平衡（变频压缩机需用专用仪表）。

Common Causes

1. The compressor is mechanically seized (locked rotor) and cannot start.
2. The compressor motor windings are shorted to ground or between turns.
3. The inverter drive board (IPM module) is shorted or has abnormal drive signals.
4. The compressor is lacking oil or has suffered liquid slugging damage.
5. The compressor start relay or contactor is damaged (fixed-speed models).

Self-Check Steps

1. Turn off the A/C and allow the compressor to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) before retrying.
2. Check if the outdoor unit has power — listen for a hum from the compressor that does not start (seizure indication).
3. Use a clamp meter to measure compressor start current — very high current with immediate trip indicates seizure.
4. Measure the winding resistance across the three compressor terminals for balance (inverter compressor requires special tools).
5. Compressor faults require professional repair — contact service immediately. Do not force repeated start attempts.
