4. 减少单次洗涤量，不要超过洗衣机额定容量的 80%。
5. 若每次洗衣都出现 E4，可能吊杆或减震器老化，联系 TCL 售后更换悬吊系统。

Common Causes

1. Washing a single large item (e.g., comforter, down jacket) that cannot spread evenly.
2. Laundry tangled into a ball inside the drum, shifting the center of gravity significantly.
3. The washer is not level — the leveling feet are not adjusted, causing the unit to tilt.
4. Suspension rods or shock absorbers are aged or damaged; drum support is uneven.
5. The balance ring (liquid balance ring) is cracked and leaking, losing its auto-balancing function.
6. Excessive weight difference between items after water absorption (e.g., mixing absorbent towels with synthetic fabrics).

Self-Check Steps

1. Open the door, manually shake out the laundry, redistribute it evenly inside the drum, then restart the spin cycle.
2. When washing large items, add a few small items (e.g., towels) to help balance the load.
3. Check whether the washer is level — rock the machine from its four corners; if it wobbles, adjust the leveling feet.
4. Reduce the load per wash to no more than 80% of the rated capacity.
5. If E4 appears with every wash, the suspension rods or shock absorbers may be worn. Contact TCL after-sales to replace the suspension system.
